Perseverance Mentoring: 1st Day of Practice

Perseverance Mentoring kicks off its 1st Day of practice in March 2013.  There were 12 middle school boys present that were ready to play the AAU season.  The boys come from a wide array of Allegheny County area school such as, Manchester Academic Charter School, John Morrow, and Sci-Tech.  Practice began at Providence Connections gym and the season practice ended with the support of the Pittsburgh Public Schools John Morrow gymnasium.

What is unique about Perseverance Mentoring is the training and F.C.A. Huddles. The players learn the importance of team work, perseverance, and self-discipline just for starters.  The coaches believe and take pride in positively motivating the young men.  And, molding them to not just be better players but better men.
